An Unprecedented and devastating earthquake has taken in its grip the sea of humanity and thousands of people are affected by it; while human casualties run into thousands, an equal or more number people are rendered shelterless having nothing between the earth and the sky. In this hour of crisis, a lot of external aid has started pouring in from various countries. Government of Gujarat has set up an External Aid Coordination Cell at the NRG Bhavan, Ahmedabad to coordinate and monitor the external aid. The Cell is headed by Shri S.K. Shelat, ex-Chief Secretary and Adviser to Honoroubale Chief Minister, Gujarat State. There are other senior officials in this Cell, including Dr. Kirit Shelat, IAS, Industries Commissioner and Shri A.J. Shukla, IAS, Managing Director, Industrial Extension Bureau (iNDEXTb).
